I got my first ink, baby! Best of all, it was completely free. Sometimes, being a journalist completely and totally rocks. The pay for the most part sucks, but the perks and benefits from story and publicity seeks more than makes up for what the career path lacks in financial funding. Now, if only I could figure out a way to keep my bills paid with free tattoo certificates and VIP press passes...
